The Lazerclock!! is a clock with personality.

It uses a 5mW 405nM laser to write the time on a photosensitive vinyl. The arms are controlled by two (hidden) servo motors, which are in turn controlled by an Arduino Pro Mini. The whole casing is machined out of quarter-inch aluminum, and the logos on the front/back are made with glow-in-the-dark powder coating.

In addition to writing the time, the clock also writes out various messages depending on its 'mood' at the moment. It can also draw little faces.

The font is meant to imitate a messy kind of handwriting. The font's script is generated with a certain amount of noise and variation.

Many thanks to the designers of plotclock.
